Sentiero OFF is the monthly format that brings independent cinema and new talents outside the festival and directly to the public, all year round.

We offer short films, debut feature films, first and second works by Italian and international filmmakers, with particular attention to those works that struggle to find space in official distribution circuits. It is a project that fully fits within our mission: to promote emerging talent, support young authors, and create real opportunities for encounters between works and audiences.
Since 2022, Cinema La Compagnia in Florence has continuously supported and hosted this initiative, but Sentiero OFF also lives in other places, cultural spaces and atypical venues throughout the city and beyond, bringing cinema where you least expect it, and where something new can happen.
An event designed to create a lively and constant connection between Sentiero Film and those who love to discover new, bold, and often invisible visions elsewhere.

A laboratory that produces stories, ideas, visions
All three Labs are not just training spaces, but real production engines: from original short films, to scripts ready for the set, to articles and critical content created in collaboration with major editorial and journalistic partners.
Founded in 2021, Sentiero Lab has already produced over 50 original projects, many of which are currently in development or in the distribution phase. The journey continues in 2025, with new energy and ever-stronger connections.
